Virginia Huth has spent over 30 years working at the intersection of government and industry, including 18 years in the Senior Executive Service. She cares deeply about promoting excellence in government and industry and developing the next generation of leaders.

Virginia started her career at the White House Office of Management and Budget and the Department of Homeland Security, then served for six years at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in two SES leadership roles including Director of Contracting. Subsequently, Virginia spent 13 years in Senior Executive roles at the General Services Administration (GSA). As the Director of the Office of Acquisition Policy, Integrity & Workforce, she oversaw GSA’s acquisition policy and served as Competition Advocate for a $6 billion portfolio. As an Assistant Commissioner in the Office of Technology Transformation Services, she led the transition and modernization of the government-wide eRulemaking system, including winning $20 million from the Technology Modernization Fund. She also led modernization of several other technology shared services, including the Federal Audit Clearinghouse, which manages the audit process for over $1 trillion federal grants annually.

Virginia concluded her federal career as General Deputy Assistant Secretary for Administration in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where she oversaw the Office of Procurement with $2B in annual spending, the Office of Facilities Management with 70 locations, and other functions.

She is a Fellow both with the American Council for Technology - Industry Advisory Council (ACT-IAC) and the National Academy of Public Administration, and has served on the Board of Directors for the National Contract Management Association, the Senior Executives Association, andthe Board of Advisors for Guardrails Technology. She is an Adjunct Professor of Public Policy the University of Texas, supervising undergraduate Archer Fellows and teaching the Federal Rulemaking Process.

Virginia received her Master’s degree in Public Policy cum laude from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Business cum laude from the University of Southern California. Virginia resides in Arlington Virginia and enjoys gardening, travel, reading, and sci-fi movies.
